Lauri Baram
of Clifton Park, NY
Lauri
Baram leads Panarama Design in providing creative visual solutions
and project management for clients in the healthcare, education,
publishing, real estate and non-profit industries.
Over 25 years in advertising and design, Lauri has witnessed a
virtual revolution in tools and techniques. Her current clients
(some of whom have been with her for over 10 years) say that she’s
great at understanding and solving complex communications problems
with the kind of creativity that produces results. Lauri’s
work is on time, on target and on budget.
Prior to opening Panarama Design, Lauri was senior art director
at several advertising agencies in Albany, NY and held an adjunct
faculty position at Sage College in the graphic design department.
Lauri’s design expertise has been recognized by The Albany
Ad Club, the Society for Technical Communication, Hudson Valley
Area Marketing Association, and Healthcare Marketing Report. But
her proudest career moment was watching Paul Newman on the big
screen holding a milk carton she had designed in the movie Nobody’s
Fool.
Lauri is also active in professional associations. She is currently
Albany Guild hotline administrator and has served as national membership
chair of the Guild. She is also on the 2004 HOW Design Conference
Advisory Board and hopes to be a presenter at a future HOW Conference.
As a new puppy owner, Lauri’s spending a lot of her free
time training her new dog, Milo. But curling up with a good book
has always been one of her favorite pastimes. Her first job was
in sixth grade helping the school librarian tape up ripped pages
and glue card pockets in the back of new books. She thinks that
first experience with rubber cement might have inspired her graphic
design career.
